*****Tu es l'amour de ma vie*****

I've always felt something was amiss
Till you came, lifting me off this gloomy abyss
In my darkest nights, you shine bright
Like a beacon's guiding light,

You are my day and my night
The source of my will and my might
Without you luv, it will never be right
For then I'll be, a woman so deep in plight,

Say that I'm yours, your life's dearest lover
The princess that's in need, of her knight in full glorious armor
Say that I yours, that I'm your only charmer
For if I am not, then I'm as good as a goner,

Of parsely, sage, rosemary and thyme
I'll love and treasure you till the end of time
Coz you're the best thing to have come my way
And I'll always pray, you're in my life to stay!

I hate it when he leaves NZ for work reasons to God knows where BUT I am always so glad to have him home! Be picking him up shortly :-D

Tu me manques. Loin des yeux, près du coeur. Il n'est pas d'amour qui résiste à l'absence. Sha, je t'aime. Toujours!

Woohoo !!!

Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 1.6GHz
OS Windows Vista Ultimate
RAM 3GB DDR2 667 MHz (1x1GB Lenovo, 1x2GB Crucial)
Display 12.1" Superview SXGA+ (1400x1050) TFT
Graphics Intel GMA X3100 graphics, Intel 965 Express Chipset
Audio Integrated speakers
Hard Drive 100GB (7200 rpm) ..........blah ...........blah blah. I am not going to do a geeky or a technical review.Hell, I don't even understand what all that jargon is even though it was explained to me and I don't even know if I got the above right in the first place! :(

What I do know is that this is my new, yes! My new notebook :-D There's so many features that I am still grappling with! It was such a tremendously pleasant surprise when a Fedex guy came over and asked me to sign for a package. When I unpacked it, to my shock it was this Thinkpad tablet notebook, a birthday gift from my beau. Muachx! I never did say or asked for anything as a birthday gift from him, ever. What is it about Thinkpads? I love them, always have. My current notebook is a T41 and it's still as good as the day my mom gave me!

He's currently back in the States till this Thursday and will be back home only on Saturday. I sure have lotsa questions to ask him on this thingy but hun, I luuuvvvvvvvv yooooooouuuu!

Hmm, perhaps on second thoughts, this is just another gimmick for him to make sure I keep my hands off his own notebook? Whatever, I love him just the same!

Peace.

Of Jacuzzi, Bedrooms and the AllBlacks

Yay! We got the jacuzzi in finally :-) It's not too big nor too small either and I got the bedroom redone too. Finally! The jacuzzi was done by hired professionals of course but I did the bedroom myself at my own time. Well, actually we did it together. The previous color was too dark(maroon!). It seems different here actually, this new one in the picture. It's more like jungle green when you see it. The carpet was also changed. It's now beige, more or less when previously it was dark brown! Gosh, some males just have poor color coordination ;)
I never understood the earlier color scheme. I guess engineers build things, sort of. They're not artsy fartsy types or maybe my other half just has a penchant for dark colors. Hmm, nope I don't think so. Well, anyway once I did asked him and his reply was that "It does not get dirty fast". I went like "huhh??" I mean, dirt is dirt, seen or otherwise right? What is it they say? Men are from Mars, yes...yes, that's the real reason me thinks.

I love this new color scheme! I saw it somewhere in a home decor mag and I thought "Yes! This is exactly how I am gonna redo our bedroom......... with some minor changes of course" and well, it's done! I can sleep better now :-)

That having said, I just had to put this non relevant video in, hehehee. I just uploaded a tribute video of the NZ AllBlacks on youtube. So I am gonna put it here too. We have already the tickets to the September Rugby 2007 World Cup in France and I can't wait to see France again too! He had relinquished his vacation plans in 07 for this event too. When I first came to NZ in 03, the very first major game he brought me to was the final of the Tri Nations Cup which the AllBlacks won of course! I hope they win this World Cup too for they have never won the Coupe Du Monde before. I have grown to love rugby more than gridiron! Hmm, may be I am getting more and more Kiwi with each passing day?

Oh well, I'm happy here. So who cares ehh?

Peace, One world.

ps: There's another interesting article here. This time Sha found it. He was at the other corner of the study room on his grrrr.......grrrr.... untouchable laptop when suddenly out of the blue he went....."hahahahaahaaa!!! ahahahaaa!!!!" and continued into uncontrolled fits of continuous laughter. I almost called the paramedics. Anyway, it seems he was reading another blog. Hmmmph!! not mine...grRRR. Well I don't quite get it the way he did but he did explain that blogger's entry to me, facial expressions and all. Seems a salesperson made a sales pitch and when he or she was refused, he or she sent a very mean sms to that prospective customer. What was funny he said was, HOW she emboldened and enlarged that company's name AND why on God's green earth would the normal average home person want to buy a water vending machine??? Stupid salespeople, sheesh!

.........And more Hunks :-D

Freedom of Speech ???

Well, I wanted to blog on love. Then it occured to me my friends might fall asleep :-( So, I decided perhaps I'll leave that for another day. Okiee guys, you're safe for now and Sha, you can come out from under the bed honey ;-)

Okiee, okiee seriously now. Yesterday, I caught that video above somewhere on youtube of course. I don't quite understand the language. Although I did spend some time living in Singapore, one of Malaysia's neighbors, I did not live there long enough to learn the language of the people there (the two countries have lots of similarities and yet very different too). Besides, they have more than one official language. However, I really found this guy in the video to be well, he's good I say. I then viewed more of such related videos and read more of the comments posted. It seems this video has caused quite a controversy in Malaysia. I think if I am not mistaken, this video insults the ethnic malay race and the singer is ethnic chinese. If that is the case indeed, then I think this singer, this guy in the video needs to practice a little consideration towards his fellow Malay Malaysians.

Hmm, not much different is it? Afro American, whites, hispanic issues abound everywhere in this world. I've always wondered why it's so difficult to get along. I'm part Vietnamese and part French and I think it's safe enough to say that I know what racism is. This world certainly does not need it!

I guess that's why I made my decision to live in New Zealand with my beau. I have lived in France when I was a child, the States as a teen, Singapore for a year or so while I was studying at the United World College and then finally back in the States. I have to say that I love New Zealand the best and France a close second.

As they say it here, Kia Ora.

Peace, One World.

ps: The english translation of that song can be found here. I also found another non-related but interesting Malaysian articles by a Malaysian blogger here. Thanks Pinky.

The REAL Superman

It should read as "The Real SupermEn" actually. That's a picture of Team Hoyt. Dick and Rick Hoyt are a father-and-son team from Massachusetts who together compete just about continuously in marathon races. And if they’re not in a marathon they are in a triathlon — that daunting, almost superhuman, combination of 26.2 miles of running, 112 miles of bicycling, and 2.4 miles of swimming. Together they have climbed mountains, and once trekked 3,735 miles across America.

At Rick’s birth in 1962 the umbilical cord coiled around his neck and cut off oxygen to his brain. Dick and his wife, Judy, were told that there would be no hope for their child’s development.

Well, dad never knew the meaning of surrender or giving up. Some kinda son and some kinda dad!! I watched a tribute video for them and was so moved by that. It's included here too, I hope you like it.

Peace, One World.

Je t'aime - Love at First Bite.

My birthday is just around the corner. I'll be 25 soon. A year older but a year wiser? I hope so. Sha (my beau) made a video tribute for me which I've added here. Well, I'm not one to really indulge in things material. I'm a simple person I guess. I like the free things life has to offer. The really precious things in life are free, no really! We just need to open our eyes and I mean really really open!

Anyway, in 3 months time he'll officially be mine ;-) More on that later on perhaps. What is it about love that makes your life so full, so meaningful and gives you that zest in life. Even with all that differences of opinions, big spats or little spats and arguments it still seems worthwhile!

I will always remember the day our paths crossed. I was eating at the cafetaria and saw this bunch of guys on their big steeds rode in and parked their bikes near the window next to me. I was 18 then and he was 23. That's how long we've been together I guess. He was my first love and still is. I pray for eternity. Although there are times I wish God gave me certain powers to make a man change his umm, well annoying habits, like dumping their clothes anywhere they want and that's just one annoying habit mind you! Grrrr!

Well, anyway my girlfriends who were there with me, started teasing this bunch of guys. Somehow, he attracted my fancy. They came over and he asked me if the apple I was munching was any sweet. I held out for him to take a bite, a complete stranger mind you and somehow one thing led to another I guess. Truthfully, aids did not enter my mind then :/ ...... I mean, sharing that apple not some other stuff mind you but well, we're cool :) Honestly? I did not really anticipate that he would have the nerve to really take a bite out of the apple I was eating!!

For that video hun, thank you. I love you, always. Sha, je'taime, je t'adore.

I'll ramble on another day. Gtg for now.

Peace. One world.

My birthday gift - Aicha

Temporarily on hold.

This blog is on hold for now. Most of us are at youtube ;)

Meanwhile, until I decide what I'm gonna blog, I'll leave here some of my videos and my friends too.

Hmmm, somehow I think I know what I'm going to be blogging ;)
